Accessibility Statement
The Founder Financial Infrastructure Standard website is committed to being accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
Last updated: April 2026
Our Commitment
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more usable for all users.
This accessibility statement is published voluntarily as best practice. The Oakworth Group is committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of this website over time.
Measures Taken
The following measures have been taken to support accessibility on this website.
- All pages use semantic HTML5 elements including nav, main, footer, h1 through h4, and appropriate ARIA landmark roles.
- Navigation is keyboard-accessible. All interactive elements can be reached and activated using a keyboard.
- All images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes.
- All SVG icons include aria-label attributes and aria-hidden where appropriate.
- Text colour contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements throughout the site. The primary body text (#1A1A18 on #FFFFFF) exceeds the required contrast ratio.
- Font sizes are specified in scalable units. Text can be resized up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality.
- The site uses no timed content, no automatic animations, and no content that flashes more than three times per second.
- The page language is declared in the HTML lang attribute on every page.
- Focus indicators are visible for keyboard navigation.
- Tables include appropriate thead, th, and scope attributes for screen reader compatibility.
Known Limitations
The following limitations are known at the time of this statement.
- The PDF versions of the Standard available for download in the Assets section have not been assessed for PDF accessibility compliance. Users who require an accessible version of the Standard content may use the web-readable HTML versions available at each Book page within the Standard section.
- The inline SVG social media icons in the footer may not be fully announced by all screen reader and browser combinations. Each icon link includes an aria-label attribute as a mitigation.
Known limitations will be addressed in future updates. If you encounter an accessibility issue not listed here, please report it using the contact details below.
Technical Specification
This website is built using static HTML, CSS, and minimal JavaScript. It relies on the following technologies for conformance.
- HTML5
- CSS3
- WAI-ARIA where applicable
No JavaScript frameworks are used. The site functions fully with JavaScript disabled, with the exception of the active navigation state indicator, which is a visual enhancement only and does not affect functionality.
